Thankful For Your Support

While our hearts are overflowing in thanksgiving for the matching gift challenge being met which allows us to climb out of debt. We are also moved to tears over the loss of two teens killed in separate incidents in Montgomery.

One involved a young lady who used to visit one of our HS clubs last year. Gun shots were fired by one or more people following a teen party. Many of the teens ran across the street fleeing the violence. She was tragically run over by a vehicle as she fled. Also prayers for another separate incident involving a student who just graduated from the same high school. He was shot and killed last week. We join our hearts in prayer with the community praying God’s healing and comfort. We are so thankful to have staff who are reaching out to the hurting friends of the teens who were tragically killed.

All the more reason why we appreciate your support and prayers for our HS Clubs meeting tomorrow morning Please lift up each student tomorrow as they meet with our team. We pray that the students will encounter God’s love through the ‘gospel’ and be trained into their new identity in Christ through God’s powerful word.
